[he's a real nowhere man,
sitting in his nowhere land,
making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
doesn't have a point of view,
knows not where he's going to,
isn't he a bit like me and you?
nowhere man, please listen,
you don't know what you're missing,
nowhere man, the world is at your command.

he's as blind as he can be,
just sees what he wants to see,
nowhere man can you see me at all?]

this thing is such a distraction, sorry if i don't keep up with it as much.

i think i'm finally regaining feeling in all my limbs!! history club, in all our coolness, had a WWII re-enactment of d-day this afternoon, and well, supersoakers and water balloons aren't as fun in the winter. neither is red paint.

ahhhh! you should listen to the 'i am sam' soundtrack if you haven't. andrea let me borrow her copy. basically their budget was low so they just covered a bunch of beatles songs and did a very very very splendid job. rufus wainwright, the wallflowers, ben harper, ben folds, the vines, stereophonics, etc etc + beatles songs make a good soundtrack. i actually saw 'in good company' this weekend (love scarlett johannson). slow movie, but the music in that sounded pretty good, too. david byrne, iron & wine, the shins, damien rice, franz ferdinand. i don't know when soundtracks decided to be so good.

anyway, things are looking up. and down. and all around. and if i've been short with anyone lately i'm reallyreallyreallyreally sorry. it's me. i'm silly and have a lot on my mind all the time and sometimes like for that to be all that's going on.

modest mouse friday! row 15!!

i've never been so unmotivated about school as i have been here lately. i really haven't cared a bit. i better graduate soon before it starts to hurt me. really i just want to sit around all day reading books and listening to my records. but that's no kind of  accepted lifestyle.

i haven't been out to take pictures a lot lately :(
it's sad, i know. it's been so cooold. but that's no excuse. and i think i was too late to get into a night class i was looking forward to at mtsu. AND cheekwood isn't offering the same classes. ahhhh does it ever end?

help! ineedsomebody. help! notjustanybody.

a funny thing happened this weekend...

all this time i thought it was time that was flying by so swiftly...

it's
all
in
my
head.

it's the thoughts that go so fast. how much can one think in one second? multiplied by sixty, multiplied by sixty more? multiplied by twenty-four, and seven, multiplied by thirty-one, and multiplied by another twelve?

for instance, it's only been three months, it seems a year. and the break lasted months.
